On Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, I had the opportunity to attend a local author fair in Mesa, AZ, at the Red Mountain Library. I made a book sale, mingled, and networked with other authors. The best part of my day was reading page 22 of my book “Heart to Heart with Abagaba” to an author I met at the fair. The short story brought tears to her eyes, and my eyes were wet when I closed the book. I feel grateful for the heartfelt memories I created with the children in my care while I facilitated their learning as a former nanny and teacher.
